My wife introduced me to an MTV show a while back called The Challenge. I enjoy the show but began to wonder if there couldn’t be more at stake. I envisoned a world where people with life-threatening accidents are given replacement parts that make them super human. Because they are better than everyone else, they are pushed into menial jobs (slave labor if you will). They are called The Extras because they are extra human. The are allowed to compete on a show like The Challenge where the stakes are life and death and the reward is freedom. I’ll be just posting here as I write.
